We’ve all probably had a Heath candy bar at least once in our lives. You know, the toffee bar with a chocolate coating…
While a classic, I don’t think it ranks extremely high on the scale ‘If I could have any candy bar, it would be…’ list. I know I’ve got others that surpass the Heath Bar by miles… Snickers, Salted Nut Roll, Baby Ruth, Peanut Butter M&Ms (though technically not a candy bar, but who is keeping track). And yes, you are still reading a healthy living blog, but who doesn’t love their candy?
So, while the Heath bar doesn’t score high on my candy bar list, it sure doesn’t mean that I don’t love the Heath bar incorporated into baked goods. Nor, does it seem anybody else minds, either. The scone was legit. One of a kind. Bring on the Heath scones! Maybe I could try to recreate at home. Hmm…
I am hoping I made up for it with the drool worthy photos and recipes though! Especially those blondies, they look killer.
Well friends, with that, HAPPY FRIDAY. I hope y’all have a great weekend! I don’t think I will be checking in until after my half marathon on Sunday. As I type this I am getting huge knots in my stomach, yowza. My weekend is packed, check this out…
Today: Working until about 1:30 or 2 then heading out because my mom is coming to town (!!!!). Oh, how I have missed her, so, so, SO MUCH. I cannot wait to spend some time with her. Immediately from there, we are headed to a late lunch and then over to my aunts house to prep for my cousin’s bridal shower tomorrow.
Tomorrow: Short walk with the madre, then more prep for the bridal shower. The shower is at 1, yayyy, weddings! Then we are heading over to my cousin’s new pad to check that out. Before you know it, time to carb load, watch a movie maybe, and get a good nights rest.
Sunday: Alarm goes off at (?), maybe 5 or 5:30? I live about 5 blocks from where the race starts, so I am lucky to not have to get up and drive a long ways to get here. Run, run, run, and then brunch with my mom, Mike and his family.
Whew. Exciting, but long weekend! WISH ME LUCK! 
MMMMM HEATH! After our softball game on Tuesday, I sprinted to the ice cream shop for my first local ice cream of the season, and they had toasted coconut fro yo, which I OBVIOUSLY topped with heath bar crumbles. DIVINE!

Heaven is RIGHT!! I love anything with heath bars in it. I’ve had that heath cake before, although me and my friends refer to it as Better Than Sex Cake!

Oh my goodness, my friend makes it for almost every party we go to together and it is AMAZING!! I highly recommend it!!

Hmm. YES! I think you need to whip up a Heath creation soon. Or, I could Fed Ex something overnight to VA, haha.
Heath bars actually are on the top of my candy bar list, right under plain milk chocolate. And toffee bars at gourmet chocolate shops are hands down my favorite treat ever.
My favorite candy bar is a toss up between Heath and Twix. LOVE them both! I’ve had 2 Twix this week and I NEVER purchase candy bars. Bad, bad, bad!! The scone sounds delicious, photo or not

I love Heath bars IN things, but not so much by themselves! My mom makes this AMAZING dessert with a ritz cracker crust, vanilla ice cream, cool whip, vanilla pudding, and heath bars on top. OMG.
