I have a non-food related giveaway for you. But you’ll need to read through this post to figure out what it is and how to enter. Muahaha!
So, I think I could be stuck in a dream right now. I came home to two boxes of pure love. Aka, a box from Holey Donuts and Vitalicious.
I will try to review each of these different products and flavors as I go along so y’all know how great (or not great) I think these all are. I am hoping they all fall into the great category, we shall see!
First up, Holey Donuts.
Holey Donuts are what you would consider a gourmet ‘healthy’ donut, compared to a store bought donut that is fried and filled with ingredients that are not good for your body. Holey Donuts are not fried! They are actually hand made, contain no articial sweetners and have zero trans-fat. So yes, better than my favorite store bought Bismark donut.
I can eat Holey Donuts with no guilt, sign me up!
I opened up one of the packages so you can see how freakishly delicious these look. These are Fudge Crumb Boston Cream donuts.

GAH! I am sitting here drooling, typing this blog post. The other packages that were sent my way by the awesome folks at Holey Donuts…

I will be sure to fill you guys in on what the others look like. If you can’t tell, I am just a tad excited!
And then, Vitalicious put me over the excitement level edge. Weeeeeee!
I think we are all pretty familiar with Vitalicious, or have at least heard about the company and their offerings. Up until this point, I had only tried the Cran Bran and Blueberry Vita Top varieties. Both of which I adore. But they outdid themselves with this package…

Yep, this box is stacked full of VitaTops and VitaBrownies! A few flavors I am especially excited for…

And probably most excited for the following (you know how much I love my pb!).

Vitalicious products are packing the nutrients. Their products have quite the nutritional lineup.
- 100 caloires
- 4-7 grams of fiber
- 4 grams of protein
- Low fat
- Zero trans-fats
- No cholesteral
- 15 vitamins & minerals
Ohhh yea. I cannot get over how fabulous my Friday afternoon/evening has turned out to be.
Thank you Holey Donuts and Vitalicious, you guys are great.
Okay, and last but not least, a GIVEAWAY!!!
I was contacted by Skin MD to review their new shielding lotion- Skin MD Natural.

From Skin MD-
Our shielding lotion is a natural, eco-friendly product that helps protect your skin from harsh, drying irritants and chemicals while locking in your skin’s natural moisture without leaving a greasy residue behind, leaving it feeling soft and silky.
A shielding lotion is unlike any other conventional, artificial moisturizers because it works with the skin to naturally moisturize and heal. Most conventional, artificial moisturizers only add moisture to the surface of the skin, but do little to repair the skin’s natural barrier against moisture robbing irritants. Continued use of artificial moisturizers can cause the skin to actually begin producing less of its own natural oils, thinking that the skin has enough moisture. This can cause skin to form a dependence on the moisturizer for hydration. Skin MD Natural breaks the dry skin cycle by working to help restore skin’s natural protective abilities by bonding to the outer layer of skin, strengthening skins natural barrier against toxins and irritants that can dry the skin, while locking in the skin’s natural oils.
I am going to start using Skin MD’s lotion tomorrow to see if it does the trick for my skin. Winter in Minnesota= terrible for your skin. Let’s just say my skin is mega dry right now and nothing seems to do the trick. Hopefully Skin MD can help.

Okay, now if you will please excuse me, I have donuts to eat…

Wow what fabulous surprises to come home too, they are definitely drool-worthy! I’ll be curious to see how the lotion turns out for you, I get pretty dry skin during the winter as well. Currently my favorite skincare product isn’t exactly just one for the face, but I am love with it: Coconut Oil!!
OK… how jealous am I right now. Vitamuffins are awesome obviously and crazy delicious. But HOLEY DONUTS!!?!?! They’re DONUTS!!!!
is right!! It’s ok though.. I’ll just sit over here in a corner and be envious.
And skin care – super important right now in MN! We’re getting to that season when we think we can go without gloves because it’s “springlike” (aka still below freezing)… and then we get super chapped hands. I am a huge coco butter fan, but my skin product “must have” is actually sun screen – Kinesys brand only!
Annnd my MiniApple friend, I just tweeted
ahh ia m so incredibly jealous of all of your vitamuffins!!!!
I LOVE Vitatops!!
I have survived the overly cold winter in Texas with some Avon facial moisturizer and the Vaseline hand cream I picked up has saved my skin this year!
Enjoy those Holey Donuts!!!
